Professional Counselling in Street, near Glastonbury, Somerset and Online Across the UK

I offer integrative counselling for adults seeking support with anxiety, grief, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, life transitions, and periods of deep personal change.
Sessions provide a calm, compassionate and confidential space to explore what may be happening beneath the surface of daily life. Whether you are arriving in crisis, feeling emotionally stuck, navigating uncertainty, or simply longing to reconnect with yourself more deeply, counselling offers space to slow down, reflect, and be fully heard.
I work in person from a counselling space in Street, near Glastonbury, Somerset and also offer online counselling across the UK.
How I Work

My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed and grounded in compassionate enquiry. Rather than offering rigid formulas or one-size-fits-all solutions, I work collaboratively with each person, adapting sessions to individual needs, experiences and emotional pace.
Sessions may inculde psychological understanding with emotional, embodied and creative awareness. Sessions may include reflection, dialogue, nervous system awareness, mindfulness, imagery, creative exploration, or simply the experience of being deeply listened to in a safe and grounded space.
I believe healing often begins when people no longer feel they must hide parts of themselves. Therapy becomes a space where vulnerability, honesty and self-understanding can gradually emerge without judgement or pressure.
Therapy Influences
My integrative approach draws from a range of therapeutic perspectives and lived experience, including:
- Trauma-informed and polyvagal-aware practice
- Parts work and Internal Family Systems-informed approaches
- Somatic awareness and nervous system regulation
- Mindfulness and compassionate enquiry
- Narrative and creative therapeutic approaches
- Humanistic and relational counselling traditions
Alongside formal training, I bring over 30 years of experience exploring meditation, embodied healing, personal development and emotional wellbeing.

What Counselling Sessions Feel Like
Counselling sessions are grounded, spacious and gently exploratory. Clients often describe feeling deeply listened to, emotionally safe, and able to speak openly without needing to perform, explain everything perfectly, or hold themselves together.
Sessions are not about being fixed or analysed. They are about creating space for greater awareness, understanding, self-acceptance and meaningful change.
Some people come with clear difficulties they wish to work through. Others arrive with a quieter sense that something in life no longer fits, and that a deeper conversation needs to begin.
Therapy can support:
- anxiety and stress
- grief and loss
- trauma and emotional overwhelm
- neurodiversity and sensitivity
- relationship difficulties
- identity and life transitions
- self-worth and emotional patterns
- reconnecting with meaning, authenticity and emotional balance
